Cy Wilson has a way of making dreams come true. A virtuoso in pen and ink, his numerous sketches conceive of space and objects in painstaking detail long before they’ve become a reality. After a long stint designing interiors with Yabu Pushelberg, Cy joined Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide as Design Director, immersing himself in the world of hotels and hospitality, before establishing Studio CJWA in 2013 in New York City. Here he trained his focus on the home, its objects and appointments. While translating refined spaces from the drawing boards in his Leroy Street studio, Cy began to develop solutions like his Pippa and Drew bookcases, which inject luxurious material and scaled proportion to everyday living. His is a way of seeing space through sensitive lenses, with a predisposition toward refinement and beauty.
