Designed in 1970 as part of the exclusive CH100 Series—relaunched in 2008 to mark the house’s centenary—it balances sculptural poise with meticulous craftsmanship: a single, large veneered element elegantly unites the tabletop, rails, and two slender drawers, poised on slim, stainless flat-steel legs that give the piece an almost weightless presence. The drawers reveal Wegner’s signature devotion to detail, with delicate stainless-steel handles, precise dovetail joints, and thoughtful organization—one discreetly fitted with a rounded-bottom tray for safeguarding small, precious essentials.
