Celebrated design duo GamFratesi has transformed the traditional nineteenth-century English roll-arm sofa for international design house Gubi. Featuring a distinctive undulating profile, taut upholstery, deep seats and low, rolled arms, Stine Gam and Enrico Fratesi highlight, "The 19th-century English ‘roll-arm’ sofa was one of the first ‘modern’ sofas in history. Our updated version boasts straighter lines, clearer geometry, and a deeper, softer seat" - which the pair meticulously fine tuned to cater to a modern clientele.
