Guillaume Sasseville is a renowned designer known for his innovative and elegant designs that have captivated audiences in Montreal, New York, Paris, Tokyo, and Milan. With a background in both architecture and design, Sasseville brings a unique perspective to his work, blending functionality with artistic flair.

Sasseville's journey in the world of design began with a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Design from the Université du Québec à Montréal in 2007. He later pursued a Master's degree in Design for Luxury & Craftsmanship from the prestigious École cantonale d’art de Lausanne in 2011, further honing his skills and expertise in the field.

Before establishing his own design studio, Sasseville gained valuable experience working in architecture for nearly a decade. In 2011, his outstanding talent was recognized when he was awarded the Phyllis Lambert Design Grant by the City of Montreal for his project, Verre Commun, showcasing his ability to push boundaries and think outside the box.
As the creative director of SSSVLL, Guillaume Sasseville breathes life into objects by infusing them with meaning through meticulous attention to material and form. His projects span a wide spectrum, from industrial design to comprehensive space planning, always seeking to achieve simplicity while delivering a refined and immersive user experience imbued with a touch of subtle humor.

Notable collaborations include working with Montreal-based Lambert et Fils lighting studio on the creation of the Mile collection of linear pendant lights, as well as partnerships with prestigious brands such as Christofle and Baccarat. Sasseville's work in product design, furniture, scenography, interior design, and materials research has garnered acclaim for its sophistication and ingenuity, setting him apart as a visionary in the world of design.

In addition to his professional pursuits, Guillaume Sasseville also shares his knowledge and expertise as a teacher at UQAM's École de Design, inspiring the next generation of designers to push boundaries and explore new possibilities in the field of design.
