The Marea lighting collection is a lyrical study of the sea—its quiet pulse, its drifting flora and fauna, its shifting light rendered in handblown glass and metal. Named for “the sea” in Romanian, the collection traces designer Andreea Avram Rusu’s memories of summers on the Black Sea and her love of scuba diving, translating the fluidity of underwater landscapes into sculptural illumination. Handblown glass forms ripple in layered profiles while substantial, handcrafted brass chains suspend each piece with a jeweler’s tactility, creating compositions that feel both weightless and enduring. From the ethereal Aequorea Sconce to the singular Leidyi and Aurelia pendants, and the dynamic, multi-pendant Marea Chandelier 03 through 11, this luxury lighting collection invites bespoke arrangement—a constellation of fixtures tailored in scale, tone, and rhythm to suit the room’s architecture and style.
