Børge Mogensen Table Bench

Versatile, timeless, and masterfully crafted, Børge Mogensen’s 1958-designed table bench series was originally created to complement a daybed design. Christened the BM0488, this smartly tailored cane-woven piece exemplifies Mogensen’s ‘building furniture’ concept, featuring timeless furnishings designed to adapt to the realities of evolving needs and environments. Constructed from solid oak, the bench showcases dense heartwood skillfully shaped using traditional cabinetry joints and rounded edges, resulting in heirloom-quality pieces sure to stand the test of time.

In 2024, the furniture masters at Carl Hansen & Søn have reimagined Mogensen's original cane-woven table bench using natural paper cord.
