Founded by Samuel Lambert in 2010, Lambert & Fils began as a small design shop on Montreal's Rue Beaubien. The genesis of the now celebrated lighting atelier was born from a revisiting of Samuel's father's ceramic art designs. Today, the once tiny design shop has expanded to become one of the world's leading incubators for lighting design exploration and experimentation. Boasting a team of over 50 designers, fabricators, artists and creatives, the studio is grounded in Samuel Lambert's passion for "materials as the point of origin" and preserving the connection between design and the actual hand crafting and manufacturing process. Employees are encouraged to explore innovative forms, materials, and methods of production to create award-winning designs that push the boundaries of what's expected and possible.
