Loïe Suspension Light
With Loïe, time appears to pause mid‑twirl. MYDRIAZ’s first creation for a wider market—and a highlight of the studio’s 10th‑anniversary capsule collection—this sculptural suspension translates the enchantment of Loïe Fuller’s serpentine dance into luminous brass. Each piece is hand‑shaped in the Parisian workshop, where artisans apply a continuous bright flame to coax the metal into fluid, supernova‑like curves, capturing the shimmer and drift of a diaphanous veil in motion. Traditional metalwork meets contemporary technique in a composition of rare poise: the undulating silhouette gleams beneath Champagne, Green, or Burgundy varnishes, each chosen to harmonize with and elevate the natural depth of the brass. The result is a pendant that doesn’t merely illuminate; it radiates, casting warmth and quiet drama as if holding a fleeting gesture in the air. Produced in small quantities, every Loïe Suspension bears MYDRIAZ’s signature values of elegance, balance, and harmony, expressing a cultivated sensitivity that has defined the studio since its founding by Jennifer Midoz and Malo du Bouëtiez. Dreamlike yet impeccably grounded in craft, Loïe offers a contemporary reverie—an objet lumière that brings a whisper of movement, color, and Parisian refinement to the spaces it inhabits.
