About Nash Martinez

Nash Martinez got his start in the design world as a 20th-century design dealer. It was there that he developed the passion for lighting that would lead to the launch of his contemporary lighting studio, Current Collection in 2017. Based in the heart of Oregon, Martinez has parlayed a keen eye for historical detail, art deco lines, and vintage motifs into a forward-looking collection of contemporary lighting that celebrates past and present in equal measure. Most recently, Martinez has partnered with the lighting experts at Roll & Hill for the production of his growing line of minimalist pendant, ceiling, and wall lamps. Together, Martinez and Roll & Hill celebrate the art of light and craftsmanship as they tap the talents of artisans - rolling out the hand-blown glass globes, porcelain shades and beautifully finished metals that comprise this magically timeless lighting collection. Martinez lives and works in Bend, Oregon with his wife, daughter and puppy Leo.
