Moonsetter

Moonsetter by architect Anne Boysen emerged as the top design in the 2020 Next Danish Design Classic competition, which aired on national television in Denmark. The judges quickly acknowledged its exceptional qualities, praising its minimalist design, sleek lines, and timeless appeal. The lamp's design is rooted in basic geometric shapes, uniquely combining circles, squares, and cylinders.

After developing the initial prototype for the competition, Boysen partnered with Louis Poulsen to refine the design further. In 2021, Moonsetter was officially launched in Denmark, with a limited release of 100 numbered editions.

This sculptural floor lamp serves as a striking centerpiece in any space, resembling a work of art. Its 360° rotating disc features different finishes on each side, allowing users to customize how light is reflected in the room and how the lamp's mirror surface interacts with the environment. Moonsetter encourages exploration and interaction, showcasing both the quality and sensory experience of its design.

Blurring the lines between sculpture and illumination, Moonsetter fulfills both aesthetic and functional roles. Its impressive size naturally draws attention, creating a unique atmosphere shaped by reflections and light. Each lamp is part of a limited edition of 100 pieces, engraved with an edition number and a unique sequential number from 1 to 100.
