Designers within the small, Brooklyn-based storefront are intent on bringing innovative technique to upscale architectural lighting solutions for residential and commercial settings alike.
Founded in 2011 by Montreal native Shant Madjarian, Juniper Design focuses on sustainable design, usability, and an advanced process in construction of each piece. Maintaining integrity of the materials utilized in their work has become a cornerstone of the designers’ philosophy.
Specializing in minimalit lighting solutions, Juniper’s hallmark product, the Thin Modular Lighting System, highlights a commitment to cutting-edge technology, boasting customizable elements that allow components to be extended, rotated, and configured to meet the individualized needs of the user.
Juniper has long been recognized as a leader in the modern lighting industry. A recipient of Interior Design Magazine’s Best of Year Award on numerous occasions, Juniper has also shone alongside others in collaboration. One such project, the 2018 DEKAURI credenza by Daniel Germani, married Riva 1920, Cosentino, and Fantini Rubinetti with Juniper lighting, garnering the piece the coveted NYCxDesign Award and the Good Design Award the same year.
