Paavo Tynell
Born in Helsinki, Finland, in 1890, a time when most of Northern Europe had yet to be electrified, lighting master Paavo Tynell would become known as “The man who illuminated Finland.” His passion for design and focus on indirect, atmospheric lighting won him collaborations with some of the most influential architects of his time, and the fixtures he produced remain as relevant today as they were a century ago.
