PH Snowball Pendant

Designed in 1958, Poul Henningsen's Snowball Pendant made its debut at the Danish Museum of Decorative Art. Despite its elegant form, it garnered little attention - lying on the conceptual shelves until 1983 when it was re-launched by Louis Poulsen. The fixture explores Henningsen's fascination with glare-free lighting with its meticulously angled fins configured to direct light where it is needed most. The top shades send light upward while the lower shades send it down - ensuring a uniform spherical glow that is equal parts functional and appealing.
