PH Snowball Pendant

Originally designed in 1958, Poul Henningsen's Snowball Pendant made its debut at the Danish Museum of Decorative Art. Despite its elegant form, it received little attention and remained on the conceptual shelves until 1983, when it was re-launched by Louis Poulsen. The fixture exemplifies Henningsen's fascination with glare-free lighting, featuring meticulously angled fins configured to direct light precisely where it is needed. The top shades project light upward, while the lower shades direct it downward, creating a uniform spherical glow that is both functional and sculpturally beautiful.
